Many of us have our own role models in order for us to emulate or just to look up to and be inspired by their life story on how they became successful. Just like the way when they say, "choose your friends well", you must choose your role models well also--since they affect you and you may also pattern how you live your life like theirs. So what are some of the traits of these people worth emulating?
* Good role models love networking with others. They know that knowing all the right people pays off and it helps you to move around if you know a lot of people.

A smile on a person's face is more than just signifying joy or "glad-to-meet-you" mode. As much as it is commonly used in body language, it can also be the most misunderstood and can even be misleading.
For example, when you look at that new face or say, a stranger smiling at you across the crowded hall, what does it tell you? Is she just being friendly or is that beautiful stranger try to attract or flirt with you? Hmmm...confusing yet?
But first, the most important thing to consider is, is it even a genuine smile or only a forced one?
Why do people have to use the forced smile? Well, a it is normally donned to show politeness or courtesy (forced courtesy, if you may) and cheerfulness to make a good (usually first) impression on others.

Touching comprises a significant part in human body language. A person's touch is able to transmit various messages that could be understood in different ways under certain circumstances. So be careful in touching somebody as you don't want to be misinterpreted in your intentions. In my book, "Secret Body Talk", I talked about the four main types of touching and the importance of touch.
1) If you want to be seen as the sociable kind, the social touch is very common, especially for the more expressive specie--like us, the women. This is usually common is parties and social gatherings, such as hugging and kissing--signifying a welcoming approach.
2) There's also the importance of the friendly touch.

Aside from compliments and praises, (plus, some additional incentives like bonus doesn't hurt either) what are some of the ideas when it comes to motivational rewards to commend some people in recognizing their work?
Well, there are other ways of motivating individuals aside from the typical ones we know. For one, you can give some gift certificates to acknowledge other people's hard work and contribution. These kinds of motivational rewards are really useful especially if you've no idea what gifts they like. These gift certificates can be in the form of movie passes or restaurant freebies.
Also, gift baskets are not to be missed! Gift baskets are truly appropriate if you want to motivate or reward an entire team for their hard work or performance.
