A life totally devoid of anger is absolutely quite impossible. There would always be times, moments and situations when you are going to be angry, mad or frustrated. The real problem or challenge is not truly the anger itself, but allowing it to get it out of control and out of hand.
Anger in itself—whether you are experiencing volcanic tempers and outbursts, or perennially feeling a covert anger, is definitely not on our wish list this coming Christmas. Specifically when being angry freaks you out and it goes topsy turvy and you direct your outburst and violent temper to your kids, your spouse, your parents, your peers, neighbors, etc conceiving and spreading ill feelings all around you.

Eventually, when you come to your senses and calm down, that feeling would transform into regret, remorse and guilt. Next thing you knew, you’re probably spending most of your time just thinking on how to make amends. What’s more, you’re anger problems double up instead of one. Finding good and effective methods and strategies to cope and manage your anger problems and issues can solve many unnecessary problems and stresses in your interpersonal and social relationships.
There are a variety of good and effective ways of dealing and managing anger problems in a controlled style. And one of the most simple and tested strategies out there is the Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT. EFT belongs to the branch or family of the energy therapies. It uses a coalition of mental or mind focus coupled with tapping on a small number of meridian points of the upper half of one’s body and face in order to clear the channels of energy of the body and mind.
Emotional Freedom Technique could be learned and understood easily by anybody and has a very high success rate of above 90%. The moment that you noticed that anger problems are arising you tune into the anger and start to tap on the meridian points while concentrating on trying to let go of the anger by talking aloud a phrase as you tap.
A round of tapping will take about a minute. You just keep on tapping the rounds till the anger settles, which commonly occurs right away, within just a few minutes. And once you have successfully released your angry emotions in this manner, you begin to gain a new clarity of mind.
One might also feel and experience a quick sense of relief and lightness, as if a heavy load of burden has finally been lifted off your tired shoulders. Seeing your situation and circumstance in a whole new light is totally thrilling and empowering. Now this is a very energizing feeling and would oftentimes direct you to new and different insights into the problem, which has caused you to be angry.
You would have a renewed self-confidence and a heightened feeling of self-assurance and self esteem. You could make use of Emotional Freedom Technique for a great variety of physical and emotional problems. If you make it a part of your daily regimen, you could soon discover that you become more relaxed and calmer and rejuvenated.
