Overcoming Anger And Hatred

Tags: , ,

We can often feel angry when other individuals hurt us or don't do what we think they should. Satan always wants you to be angry so he could control you. Anger is evil and would destroy you. It is not useful to be angry, so you should get rid of it! Drugs and alcohol could also bring out our anger, so we end up fighting with other people. Having could give us a bad attitude and behavior towards life and toward ourselves and more likely to result in misery and unhappiness. There are times that our ire is toward ourselves, and if we aren’t living up to whatever we expect of ourselves, we usually have the tendency to become angry with ourselves.

Anger takes away our self-control and logical thinking. We must be tolerant and kind to ourselves as we are to others. Bear in mind that our life is about growing, about constant learning. Mistakes are inevitable and are okay if we learn from them, and if we are often striving to be a better individual. So we must truly be patient with ourselves as we are learning. Satan wants you to have hatred in your heart, which is another part of anger. Often a prison sentence, anger and hatred could also destroy relationships. Hatred is controlling and evil and causes individuals to do evil and despicable things, in which they certainly pay a hefty price.

How Does Anger Really Happen? Oftentimes our wrath stems from childhood and how caregivers, parents or guardians treated us. Thus, anger may become an acquired learned from persons we know and how he or she handles various situations in life. Anger comes from our own selfishness, when we usually do not get what we want. Mostly it comes from our thoughts and emotions when something occurs to us which we don’t like. Often, somebody else may influence us along the way. Some individuals who belong to a gang may take on the hatred and anger of the gang instead of using their own intellect and reasoning skills.

They do not think for themselves. When you feel angry, you play right into Stan’s hands. This is wrong and stupid and it is exactly what Satan likes. If you are filled with bitterness and hatred in your heart, you could bring war into your own life. War is a dreadful and terrible thing—people killing other people they do not even know just because in the name of hatred. Satan wants you to hate even strangers and make you think you have enemies. But these strangers have the same desires and needs for life that you have. And in reality, if you were to really get to know those you feel angry with, you may find out that they are really not that different from you.

You should remember that you’re and they are, too. If you take time and the chance to get to know them, you may even like them, because they are your brothers and sisters in Christ.
