3 Tips To Stop Being A Worrywart

Set yourself free from your worries
and fight that inner negative voice.

Be a confident person here.

************************************************************

Today let's look at a letter sent
by one of you.

It's from Jess and reads in part:

"...my friends and family say
that I worry too much for my own
good.

I do admit I worry a lot, even
when there is nothing to worry
about.

What can I do to stop from
overly worrying?"

************************************************************

Let me start by saying this:
worrying is a normal state of
mind.

Everyone has worries so you
don't have to worry about that
(levity intended).

Worrying can help you spur into
action so you can solve problems.

The thing is, when you worry,
you are putting all of your thoughts
towards tackling a scenario you
dislike.

As you build up all these negative
scenarios in your mind, the next
time something similar comes
up in real life, your mind will
quickly bring up that negative
scenario in your mind resulting
in you getting more worried and
putting more stress on yourself.

Constant worrying can keep you
awake at night and stressed out
during the day.

So how do you stop worrying?

Try these:

************************************************************

1. Focus on the solution

Look. Worrying is what you do
in order for you to find a solution
to a perceived or real problem.

Instead of having it go over and
over and over in your mind, why
not do this:

* figure out what the issue is

* find the solution(s) for that issue

* stick with that solution(s)

* move on

You have to be decisive with this.
Flip flopping on the issue will only
add to your worries.

Don't do that.

Pick one and move on.

When you do, your uncertainties
on that issue will go away so
you can better focus on the
next one.

************************************************************

2. The future is uncertain

Live with it - that's why it's called
the future.

No one, and I mean no one
can predict what your future
can bring.

Accept this fact:

"The future is uncertain!"

You can worry yourself to death
about what the future will bring
and try to predict what will happen
to you but you know what -
it doesn't work that way.

Just because you are thinking
about what may happen to you
doesn't mean you've just predicted
what's going to happen to you.

Yeah you feel you have a grasp
of things but that doesn't prevent
it from happening - if it happens
at all.

And if it doesn't happen what
do you get?

A lot of stress, a lot of ulcers,
and the loss of enjoyment for
the things you have right now
in life.

Basically, you're disregarding
your present for the sake of
a future negative event that
may or may not happen.

************************************************************

3. Be happy

Worrying brings out the negativity
in you.

Why not try and twist it around
to make it more positive so you
worry less and so stress less.

In fact, disregard the whole
negativity thing and just
embrace happiness
altogether.

For every negative thought you
have, counter it with positive
ones (the more the merrier).

In fact, question your own
negative thoughts.

For example: If X negative event
may happen why not also put in
Y positive events that will prevent
X from happening.

Get the picture? For every single
negative event that you can think
of, there's bound to be positive
events that can prevent that
from happening.

Focus on those positive events.

************************************************************

All that worrying is not good for
your body. Just relax - physically,
emotionally, and mentally.

And if you really need to, reach
out and talk with someone.

If not your family then a close
friend or even a professional.

But everything starts from your
well-being and confidence.

My step-by-step guide can help
you fight that inner negativity
so you can love yourself more.

You can check it out here.

Because, if you don't believe in
yourself as someone worthy of
love, respect and happiness,
then who else will?

Until next time,
