Love Your Work So You Can Love Your Life
Be a happy worker and love
your job. It doesn't have to
stress you out.
See how here.
************************************************************
We work anywhere between
45 to 60 hours per week on
our jobs.
Because of that many of us
complain that our jobs are
affecting our physical and
emotional health.
But with the way the job
market is, even if you leave
your current job there's no
assurance you'll be in a
better one - or even if you
will be able to get a job
again.
Happiness at work because
of work doesn't really hold
true anymore.
If you want to be happy at
work you need to create that
heaven through your own hands.
This is probably where the
adage “If you can't be in the
job you love, love the job
you're in," comes in.
So how do you go about
loving the job your in?
************************************************************
Start by self-motivation.
A cliche I know but so true.
Your state of mind about your
job goes far in whether you
will love your work or not.
Look for things to motivate
yourself.
Work when your energy
peaks. Go over your
accomplishments and use
that as an energy booster.
If you want look at yourself
in the mirror and say to
yourself "I love my job."
************************************************************
If you're stressed because
of the work load rest assured
you're not the only one.
Prioritize your work focusing
on the essential and leaving
the non-essentials until you
have time for them.
Organization is important and
once you have this down pat
you'll find that things from here
on in will be much easier for
you.
And so you don't burn yourself
out treat yourself once in a while.
This means taking time out for
yourself and relaxing.
************************************************************
If you have problems with
management it is best to
keep lines of communication
open.
And if there are major changes
in your workplace take
advantage of it.
Who knows, looking at it from
another perspective you may
see something in it that can
work for you career wise.
************************************************************
Surround yourself with upbeat
and positive people - co-workers,
friends, and even your boss.
Get to know them better.
The more you know them the
easier it is to work with them
since you know how they work
or why they work that way
they do.
And don't join in office gossip.
That's the surest way to make
your workplace an unhappy
place.
************************************************************
What's important is that you
manage the stress that builds
up inside you.
It would help that you release
your stress.
