After you’ve exhausted all means of solving problems and dilemmas through the usual methods, well it’s about time to think “out-of-the-box” and try those unconventional creative thinking techniques. You can always be different in your way of thinking when it comes to problem solving and be avant-garde in your thoughts.
And some of these creative thinking techniques include the following: 1. Think about all the options and choices to whatever you are trying to come up with. Collect everything and examine carefully all the facts and information you could come across about the subject matter. However, if ever you get stuck in a rut (which happens to most of us every now and then, anyway), then simply leave it for a moment.

Return to it later and in the meantime, go over to some other part of the riddle. You will notice that over and over again as you move forward and advance, it would just unexpectedly emerge vividly without you really looking or thinking hard for it. And when it finally does, write them all down so as not to lose it before the momentum disappears.
And don’t underestimate the power of daydreaming. Even the mere act of daydreaming is another technique in creative thinking. To do this, conceptualize your own out of this world story in your mind then begin to envision or dream your way to a winning ending established on whatever outcome you desire to attain.
Moreover, curiosity and studying actually join forces in resolving the most difficult dilemmas. More often than not, the solution is ever so easy, it’s not apparent to us. Utilize a structured and well-thought out plan of action to carry out, and then document the results rationally. This is done so that you’ll have a source for assessment and a system to comply to as you continue on to get to the bottom of a tricky problem and also to generate something fresh.
Another method in creative thinking is by finishing just one step at a time. By simply narrowing it down to bite-able sizes, you could solve it by section to section. And never try to supersede your errors or mistakes. Identify them, and lay it to rest so they wouldn’t hold back but help you toward your advancement to your creative thinking.
And how about making new products or agenda by association? This is another good technique in thinking creatively. It works like this: first, you think of an object or a thing which is comparable or adjoining to your subject piece, and then maintain the “series” of associated thoughts till new and helpful agenda or products come out and materialize as ideas or concepts.
Now, associate these concepts to the subject piece or item thru examination or by trial and error of all the given variables included. So the next time that you’ve exhausted all those conventional steps with regards to solving problems and you still can’t come up with a desired solution, why not try those creative thinking methods given above?
