Maximizing Your Creativity With Mind Mapping

Are you planning a task or project—may it be a starting your own business, giving a speech, preparing for a vacation or whatever, mind mapping is sure a great and effective technique to obtain all those appropriate facts and effortlessly systematized to guarantee your project to be a success. In 1970, Tony Busan conceptualized and established a method known as mind mapping, a clever style in coordinating and arranging a certain plan or assignment within your mind by beginning with a fundamental concept or keyword and widens or stretches all your thoughts and ideas that go with it.

A mind map—you may ask, is there such a thing? It’s an illustration utilized to organize or coordinate a task that’s in your thoughts. It’s in fact comparable to taking down notes—but just only better and more systematic. Mind mapping is a distinctive system of sorting out one’s mind on a definite subject matter on paper.

Picture this: at the back of your mind, you previously have a hazy plot on a particular subject or topic and this process of mind mapping just simply comes in handy so you could see and be aware of what needs to be done to carry out your arrangement in the correct order.

Diagrams and maps have always been a valuable and useful method of teaching but mind mapping is another good way of educating and taking advantage from one’s own knowledge. And did you know that researches confirm that our subconscious mind would recall everything of a certain assignment or scheme however, not necessarily in the correct order? This technique provides you the means of recording details and interconnected details in order to precisely fill in and finish a task in the correct order.





These mind maps are quite simple and easy to recall and immediately replicate an image-like outline of the task at hand. You may agree that memory lapses are such common difficulties or problems whenever taking on a new venture or project. And this is where mind mapping naturally gives a helping hand.

It lets all interconnected links to be seen visually making it easier to remember interrelated matters. Our brain recalls only images, scenes and some keywords but not all sentences and all ideas or concepts and they could possess countless of links. This technique of mind mapping includes writing down and encircling at the center of a paper, any keyword of any concept or subject that would stretch out—with a line from the chief keyword to a linked phrase or issue.

For example, if you got a major concept or idea about “Internet Marketing Business”, an interrelated subject will be “Affiliates”. So other related subject will be “Forums”, “Blogging”, “Social Bookmarking”(Stumble Upon, Digg, Delicious) “Articles” and many others. Now, encircle each one of these related words or phrases then stretch out or extend with a line tracing from the major idea phrases or words to the related phrase or subject.

When the related subject words or phrases are now completed or finished, you could now then have some sub-related subjects from your related topic words or phrases. By now you can organize or arrange your related subjects by numbering them—not exactly by their importance, but in the order that you will do them.
