Part of the inconvenience is just that the built-in closet they utilize carries with it a long stretch of horizontal with no upright to prevent things from getting out of control.
So the solution is getting shelf dividers—it is a quick way to reclaim order out of disarray. Shelf dividers are also used at regular intervals along the shelves, which can keep shorts, pants, jeans, shirts, blouses and everything else within their alloted space.
