As social beings as we are, we all wanted to be interesting to others and to make a good impression on them. That's why here are some tips on how to be more interesting:
Be interesting tip #1: Be interested with other people--yes, what goes around comes around. What you show to others mirror a part of you, so observe them well. Know what makes tick, especially what makes them smile. People naturally gravitate around you if you make them smile and laugh. That's why it's no wonder that if you ask a lot of single people out there what kind of qualities they're looking for in a potential love interest, they will say, "someone with a sense of humor." But be sure your humor is appropriate (and not sordid) to the occasion and your audience--you don't want to offend anyone.
Be interesting tip #2: Expand your general knowledge. advertisement
Anyone can be a good conversationalist if you can contribute to any topic regarding any issues that may arise. Others will find you interesting if you can be sensible and witty at the same time. So, isn't this another good reason why you must brush up on your reading habits? You can start anywhere from psychology, geography, art and music, to current events to pop culture--anything! People would appreciate it if you can give not just opinions, but facts--based on what you've known or read.
Be interesting tip #3: Give a positive glow and smile--lots. If you want to make people smile and warm up to you more, you got to be a people-magnet yourself (as connected to tip #1) and be a happy and smiling person. This evokes good vibes and positive aura. Who wants to hang-out and be associate with a grumpy killjoy, right? Be someone nice and comforting to approach to.
Even if you're nervous, force yourself to smile--it's worth the effort.
