Building self-esteem may be a struggle for some, but hey, it’s not that hard if you only give it a try, right? As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day, so this time, no pressures, just good ol’ tips on some ways on how to build your self esteem---at your convenience.
Let’s get it on, shall we? Okay, you can start by not putting yourself down. Yes, enough with all those self-bashing now. In building self-esteem, you should overwhelm yourself with positivity instead of listening to your negative inner voice. As you ask yourself, “How can I boost my confidence?” tell yourself that there’s always something/s positive in you which other people don’t have.

If you start comparing yourself to Angelina Jolie (for females) or Brad Pitt (for men), then you’re doomed! You should stop comparing yourself to others and should be happy with your own strengths and with what you have. Building your self-esteem also means getting rid of negative and pessimistic pals.
Sure, there are times wherein you need to bitch around, whine and complain about the bad stuff, unload your problems once in a while, but hanging out consistently with these kinds of people will eventually make you one of them. And you don’t want to be one of them, or do you? Bear in mind that people who usually bitch around are unhappy with themselves or with their lives.
Also, if you want to build your self-esteem, then, you must see to it that you don’t put up with other people being nasty and mean to you. You want to be respected and if other people refuses to see it that way, then you should walk away from their midst.
Life’s too short to live in negativity and you don’t have to deal with those kinds of people. Lest you might get contaminated with their virus or bad vibes then end up being like them. Keep in mind that confidence is all about loving, liking, accepting and valuing you. So do things that you love or sparks your interest.
In that way, you develop your talents and tend to be better than you actually thought. Know your strengths because when you do, you’ll be surprised that you can do things better than others. If you want to be the best that you can be, then fabulous self esteem is for you!
