Why A Person Has Low Self Esteem

Tags: , ,

Low self esteem can happen to anyone at any period in their lives. Teenagers are especially vulnerable since they are at a point in their lives when they depend on what other people think of them. They need it to and give them strength to move toward the next stage in their development. Newlywed couples too, often suffer from self esteem issues. They are entering in the most scary new phase in life which sometimes leaves them feeling totally helpless and frustrated at their lack of knowledge. So why do these people have low self esteem? We should know the causes of this problem, whether they are positive or negative.

After all, we have been made to believe that the only way to move forward is to look backward. The truth is the only lesson that will guide us through life. Knowing the cause of anything is the best way to deal with it. The notion of self esteem is a very significant event in any individual's life. It is the reason why we fail and succeed, we regain or moan and even laugh or cry. It will cause those negative things you only wish for your enemies. It can make you act differently, negatively to the various events that may occur in your life.

Such as our reactions, our responses and how we organize ourselves in the midst of difficulties. So, lets tackle from the basic. Low self esteem is never born into you. Is not like being shy which we may believe have some genetic factors. Low self esteem can be the result of our background and our status. is one the causes for low confidence. How many times did you hear this remark “she took after you”. There are two ways to view this remark. It's positive if it comes in the form of compliment. If your child cleans her own room and takes out the garbage.

But it could easily turn into something negative and you could hurt a person when you condemn them for being lazy, clumsy and plain disobedient. If you leave them growing day in and day out and listen to that all day long, it will cause them to accept those remarks as a part of them. They've heard it for so many times and they believe it. Imagine what is going to happen to their egos. It's no wonder why they have low self esteem. A negative environment is another reason. Someone says that everything in this world has no meaning except the way you give meaning into it.

It just simply shows that positive and negative environment depends on how we accept it. If you are surrounded by people who have intolerable behavior, you will be influenced by them. Don't you know that more than half of the percentage of youth started to smoke due to peer pressure? When their friends say “you are not cool”, this simple statement could hurt their egos. They just choose two common response: they act to prove that it's wrong, so they start smoking or just be content to live with insecurities which can cause the lowering of self esteem. So parents, other people and you should be aware of it.

these kind of people. Build your self confidence up to become a better you.
