I wonder how will our lives would really make a big difference if we always choose to like and love ourselves? If we all never place the strength of our self love and self worth outside of ourselves (since after all, weren’t we all always at our prerogative and our own choosing about how we feel about ourselves? As a life coach, the job not just entails supporting one’s clients to be crystal-clear on whatever they want and trying to get it and achieve it, yet also to see and view clients as resourceful, creative, worthwhile and whole and to make sure that they’re doing the same with themselves. Time after time, there are some clients who place their self love and self worth on the line, in reality, they cease to view and treat themselves as resourceful, creative, whole and worthwhile beings. We see and feel it in ourselves over and over again. If i lose 10-15 pounds, then I will love myself.

If I make that sale, then I am worthy of love. When my crush finally asks me out, then I will feel okay about me. If I ultimately land my dream job, then I will feel worthy. Okay, so you probably get the picture...Where in your life did you ever put your self love and self worth on the line? And what will altering this habit mean to you? We know that we should always be our own biggest fan or groupie, our number 1 supporter, our own best friend. However, it can be observed over time that we place ourselves up for grabs and simply give our power and strength away. So why not try answering the given questions below to put yourself back on track again. 1. Where in my life do I ever constantly put my self love and self worth on the line? 2.
So what is it costing me and how does this serve me and what am I getting out of it? What is the gift of this habit? (okay, so now try looking more profoundly here—your initial gut may seem to be telling you, “it does not serve me”. Yet upon taking a closer look or evaluation, you may discover that it makes you feel familiar, keeps you safe and comfy, diverts you or lets you having an excuse as why, oh why you feel just so damn bad.) 3. What is a way or another way of making and keeping myself in check? 4. And what do I truly want--maybe you will rather be just treating yourself the same way you like to treat other people or just be on your own BFF---best friend forever. 5. What will I be willing to do in order to get what I really want? 6. And at last, commit and devote yourself to doing it. There are certain individuals who make a new decision public, write a contract for themselves, or even have an accountability partner. Nevertheless, you can always do what works for you.
