Tags: self improvement, self esteem, talk to anyone anytime
Okay, as promised, I'm going to discuss about the second part of our talk to anyone topic.
- If you want to talk to anyone anytime, just keep your conversations fairly natural. When you try to socialize, it's all about making a connection and not really how you say it. If you're really clueless on what to say, just say a simple "Hi". Yes, if you're new to this, you might get ignored by others many times before you can get truly comfy and at ease with different new faces and personalities; but just deal with it and move on.
- But what if I'm afraid of approaching, let alone talk to strangers? Then try this--for example, for one month approach someone---and if that stranger looks at you strangely, or some may just keep on walking, or might say "&$# off!" then, Congratulations! you're mission is accomplished for the day.

You've never done this before, and tell yourself that it's a good start. - Remember that isolation is not good all the time. If you want to up your social life, you got to go out, meet people and talk to anyone. You got to be proactive--and sitting home all day and waiting for someone to call and invite you is not the way to go. You have to take the initiative sometimes.
Okay, I know that it can get scary at times, but if you do this enough and often, you'll get used to it. Look at it this way--the first time can be scary, but if you've done this, like 10, 20 or 50 times, will you still be just as terrified as the first time? Think about it.
