For those of us mostly stuck in the office working from 9-5, office stress is inevitable—may it be because of super tight deadlines or high-pressured tasks. Well for one, you could sit with a straight back and let your shoulders roll forward and in a slow pace and then backward for 5-7 times each. After that, you can now move those wrists in a spherical motion for like 30 seconds. Next, breathe in deeply for about 3 seconds and do this again for 5 times.

Rub your palms together rapidly when you feel that your eyes are getting tired. Now you could shut your eyes and lay those palms over them. You can now feel the heat away from those palms alleviating your eyes. Another good and effective way of alleviating office stress is through the aid of Aromatherapy.
This one’s already a tried-and-tested formula of relieving office stress. Specifically, you can choose one in lavender scent--since lavender is known for its soothing and relaxing effects. You could choose to utilize an air freshener inside your office, or in your cubicles with this scent. Also, try putting a drop of lavender in your hankies so that wherever you go, the aroma of this soothing scent stays with you.
Moreover, if you already knew beforehand that you would be bombarded by very bad traffic on your way home, be armed and ready by carrying with you some meditative audio books or fave music. Bear in mind that you don’t want to go home still bringing with you your office stress at the end of the working day.
Then, why not commencing on your to-do lists for tomorrow’s agenda so you will gain control of your day and you would have fewer tasks to do for tomorrow, since it’s already mapped out in advance. In addition, clean up your work station and keep your files in proper order for easy access.
Of course, you may have heard of the old and overused adage that says laughter is the best medicine. And one of the most effective, if not the best stress buster is---you guessed it right! Laughter, no less. If you want to do away with office stress the easy way and without having to spend a single penny, then simply laugh you heart away! It can be as simple as exchanging hilarious and humorous anecdotes with your office mates and friends, or merely buying those stress relief toys and making use of stress balls.
Then, you can make use of your break time or coffee breaks by participating in fun stress-free online games to help you de-stress and breathe. Still, aside from these tips above, exercise still works wonders for any stressed-out individuals. It lessens anxiety and it has good benefits health-wise. Some of the best exercises to try are swimming, brisk walking, cycling, or jogging.
