Actually, one of the reasons why I'm in Europe right now (aside from relaxing) is that I'm going to attend a wedding of my friend here in Italy. Getting married in Europe sounds romantic, but for the lovely bride-to-be, she's feeling some kind of wedding stress. Is there such a thing as wedding stress? This may sound new to you, but for all ye future brides out there, here are just some of the tips for a stress free wedding to make you a blushing bride.
- If you think of wanting to fit into your white dress, then now is not the right time to diet. You have to eat; not eating on the your big day is the worst thing you can do for your nerves. Of course, you want to look best in your white dress, but what you consume on that day won't really make a difference in your current shape.
- Try not to multi-task to avoid wedding stress.

Bear in mind that you are the star of the day now as the bride. No, you are not the florist, caterer, the choir leader, the usher, or the emcee. That's why you assigned people to do certain tasks. Get references (preferably from the people you know well) and interview your applicants carefully. Once you hired them, let them do their jobs. Communicate with them clearly about your desired arrangements. - Laugh and be happy to avoid wedding stress. Yes, this may be the biggest day in your life right now, but it's only one day of your life. Here's a tip: Interview some married couples about some funny stuff which occurred at their weddings, so that you'll learn to take it easy and find humor in your own.
- Take some premarital counseling. Spending so much time and energy on the whole ceremony (and reception) that would be over in just a few hours will just be useless if you ignore the relationship itself. The best tip to ward off wedding stress may be to prepare not just for the ceremony, but for a lifetime of marriage.
