Aside from that, networking with some of the key movers and shakers in your company makes you also become more prominent yourself, hone your social skills a notch higher, plus, you'll learn so much more about your organization.
- Volunteer more. yes, that's right--ask for more responsibilities. It shows your value to the whole company, not just to your own department. That's why it's highly important that you also assist other colleagues at other departments. When you volunteer more, it also signifies your willingness and interest to succeed in the company.
- How to get promoted is also about being you, as an employee--a helper, a problem solver whenever problems or difficult circumstances arise.
Usually, bosses don't appreciate constant complainers and whiners when it comes to their work. If a difficult dilemma occurs, try to come up with a solution of your own before complaining to your manager.
