You can not have two opposite feelings at the same time. It's impossible to feel calm and comfortable when you also feel anxiety and stress. You have to swap one with the other. It helps you release all the miseries that make your life uncomfortable. Music is the key to a thousand emotions.

Try to choose a chill out music album and guaranteed relaxation and good mood will soon be installed in your mind and in your body. Actually, this kind of melody has been recommended by yoga instructors in order to produce the necessary state for meditation.
And as what they have said it's an important and relevant part of the relaxation technique meditation. Another thing that can help us meditate is other forms of art. Can painting and architecture be a way of reaching to relaxation and good feeling about you? Yes, certainly! Think about the emotion of the person who designs a beautifully made building.
Don't you feel trembles? It's obvious that when you think of beautiful paintings and when you read touching books you feel the same thing. You cannot deny the prower of art. It can really make you calm and let go of your fears and torments. Art in general and music in particular, are all branches of culture that have the capacity to create another world and an imaginary world.
This imaginary world not only stimulate our creativeness but also our senses. Art is what everybody needs in order to arrive at the highest state of relaxation and meditation. Meditating can't be done without art, music and beauty.
