As a parent, you don’t want to lose the best moments in your child’s life because you know, kids these days grow up fast.

Saying you need more family time could be too vague. However, promising to spend like, 30-45 minutes of every night reading books with your children can be a good start. Now let’s try when it comes to cooking and eating; when you make a new recipe, let the youngsters assist.
Also, involve them during planning and include their favorite dishes. After dinner, family time can still be segued. You can buy a jigsaw puzzle, a new board game, or a Word Factory to enhance vocabulary. Choose one Saturday or Sunday in a month as a family day. Plan an outing such as skating, hiking, a trip to the beach, or even as simple as watching wholesome movies.
Family time is all about fun, bonding, entertainment and also about learning and exploring new things too. Examples are visiting galleries or discovering historic landmarks and neighboring towns. And don’t forget to bring those cameras! It’s important to record your special moments to reminisce about them when the time comes.
For more fun-filled moments, try scheduling one day as Pajama Day. Make everybody stay in their pajamas for the whole day. Play those board games, watch DVDs, read books aloud and don’t forget to build fire in the fireplace. Family time is also about food and cooking and eating together.
If your kids have sweet tooth, make an effort to give an hour (at least) to bake some homemade goodies like cookies and doughnuts. Bring out all the sprinkles, toppings and decors. Make your own cookbook to pass out from one generation to generation. Make an effort to give or send over to some relatives when you visit them in their homes during holidays.
See, there are just way too many activities to get your hands on to amplify your family time management. Just bear in mind that you enjoy and maximize your time as a family.
